Cambridge Oak

Color Body Porcelain Tile

Color body porcelain embraces the lifelike look and feel of naturally grained and whorled wood in Cambridge Oak. It requires a second look, probably even a touch, to be positive that it’s not real wood.  Brand new 36” lengths rectified to widths of both 6” and 9” combine with realistic surface graining and color shadings, compliments of 3d digital print technique.  The result is the beauty of prominent oak graining with all the benefits of porcelain . . . and none of the maintenance headaches.

Floor Tile
Tile meets all criteria for use on floors; however, it may also be used on vertical applications such as walls, countertops and fireplace surrounds. See Abrasion Resistance, Coefficient of Friction and Frost Resistance for installation-specific details.

Wall Tile
Tile meets all criteria for use on vertical applications such as walls, backsplashes and fireplace surrounds. See Abrasion Resistance and Frost Resistance for installation-specific details.

Rectified Tile
Tile that has had all edges mechanically finished to achieve a more precise facial dimension.

Moderate Variation V3
While the colors and/or texture present on a single piece of tile will be indicative of the color and/or texture to be expected on the other tiles, the amount of color and/or texture on each piece may vary significantly. It is recommended that the entire range be viewed before selection.

21% Recycled Content
Minimum Pre-Consumer Recycled Content

No VOCs
Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are emitted as gases from certain solids or liquids; they include a variety of chemicals, some of which may have short- and long-term adverse health effects. This series is free of VOC emissions.

0.6 C.O.F Wet
≥ 0.6 Meets ADA recommendation for slip resistant accessible routes (0.8 recommended for ramps)

0.8 C.O.F Dry
≥ 0.7 Higher level of slip resistance for special situations

3D Printing Technique
Ragno’s state-of-the-art 3d printing technique, uses the latest in digital print technology, allowing for infinite design capabilities unique to Ragno. Ragno is the only manufacturer in the US that can do digital print up to 360 dpi, direct to tile. At this maximum resolution and with the unique grayscale printing technique, Ragno reaches finer, crisper and smoother definition for  printed designs than other digital products. A stunning palette of more than 100 square feet with no repetition, at maximum resolution, can be achieved.

Meets ADA Recommendations

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) recommends a minimum static coefficient of friction of 0.60 (wet and dry) for accessible routes and 0.80 (wet and dry) for ramps.

Frost Resistant

Industry criteria dictate that tile shall not exceed 5% water absorption to be recognized as frost resistant. To be recognized as Porcelain tile, the water absorption rate cannot exceed 0.50% (impervious). Wall tile must not exceed 20% water absorption and is not frost resistant.

Abrasion Resistance 4

Class IV - Tile in this class may withstand heavier amounts of traffic with greater amounts of dirt and/or other abrasives present including commercial kitchens and areas with regular traffic from the outside. See Coefficient of Friction and Frost Resistance for installation-specific details.

Suitable for Outdoors
The combination of Frost Resistance and Coefficient of Friction results for this series makes it appropriate for exterior horizontal (flat) surfaces. See ADA criteria for ramps.

Contributes to LEED Credits

Incorporation of recycled material during manufacture may contribute to LEED credits for Recycled Materials.
